Where to start?! I guess the best thing about the weekend is the wonderful people that drop in. It's all of you that make this event as fun and worthwhile as it is and all the effort is greatly appreciated!

You wouldn't believe some of the ideas people come up with for decorating their campsites. Give it a try! You could win the trophy! On Saturday everyone makes the rounds visiting their neighbors.

The Krazy Klub Putting Contest is a 20 foot putt set in a miniature golf style atmosphere in the grassy knoll (signs will be posted). Two prizes will be given for the best putt. So you Have two chances to win! its great fun!

At 6:00 PM Saturday, "The Love Dart Lounge" becomes home for the Luau. The Potluck dinner is fantastic with drinks provided by "The Short, Short Trailer.T.L.D.L is also home to the Spam Recipes of Distinction contest where trailer chefs gather to vie for the title of best Spam recipe chef of the year! Think up a great recipe and give it a shot, you just might win!

If you choose to dress in theme for the Luau (and we hope you do!) The costumes don't have to be expensive or difficult. Almost everyone can find an old Hawaiian shirt or old style dress shoved back in their closet, and the look really adds to the theme and enjoyment of the Luau. 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, all styles of dress contribute and are appreciated. So go wild or mild we'll love it! As always a best costume trophy will be given out at the Luau!

After the potluck comes the raffle and the trophies for Best Costume, Most Original Campsite Decoration and the Best Spam Dish cook off.

Other things to know:

• IMPORTANT: If you do not have a confirmed reservation for the event, please do not bring your trailer anyway, even just for the day. There will be no room to park them and it is unfair to others who are on the waiting list who would like to participate. Thank you for your cooperation.

  Parking for visitors is limited and is $5 per day. You can call Damian at 909-213-1722 to check available space before coming down.

• All sites have been pre-assigned. Please do not set up in a site other than the site assigned. You will be moved.
• There is no doubling up of trailers unless you have requested to double up in advance in the Goat Meadow area.
• If you need to cancel, please call us ASAP. For a full refund you must cancel by Friday, August 22, 2008.
• Only pre-ordered shirts are available, they will not be sold on site nor will orders be taken. If you would like to order a shirt, please email or call us no later than Friday, August 22, 2008.
• Please be aware that this campground has all dirt roads and some are a bit steep.
• If you are participating in the Spam Cook-off, please make enough for 4 judges to sample. Your Spam dish should be in addition to your potluck dish.
